FA Mitchell & Co Pty Ltd was started by Mr Frank Alan Mitchell during the great depression in 1933 and has been family-run ever since.

In 2022 our managing director Mark Mitchell retired, and we joined the Australian Big River Group of companies. Our entire team with decades of experience remained, including Mark’s brother Steve Mitchell. We maintain the tradition of providing expert services and advice on all things plywood – but with the added resources, support and buying power of Big River.

Our current premises at Smeaton Grange comprise over 6000 sqm of warehouse space.
